Ron harvested the logs and built his first house at age 16.  A small two-story log cabin was the start over 30 years ago, and Ron has been building up his business ever since.  Together now with oldest son Travis, whom graduated early from school and whose creative ideas have earned him first place and best of show.  Shawn, still in school with a GPA of 3.6 helps out whenever he can.  Along with their youngest sister Nicole, both boys are avid trap shooters.  Travis and Shawn have won at State level, have qualified & gone to Nationals in Sparta Illonois. In 2009, Travis led his squad to third place at the Nationals.

As a licensed timber operator, the business logs almost all of its own timber, the majority of which is salvaged from dying or storm damage trees from the Sierras to the coast.  Several different sawmills breakdown  the logs with the experience of cutting over a million board feet.  Two state-of-the-art dry kilns and a well-equipped planer/molding and fabrication shop make up the heart of their business.

Having spent his entire life in the construction industry, Ron can provide you with experienced an innovative design service.  A valuable asset to work with your architect or interior decorator using their unique custom products.

For years the Glasses owned their own gallery in Murphy's California and then in Arnold, California.  Their goal now is to take on larger custom projects,  commercial, residential and commissions, doing less of the small stuff they sold in their gallery.  An enclosed twin axle trailer acts as a portable shop filled with over 6000 pounds of tools and equipment.  Some of the products they will be concentrating on are large false beam and truss systems, fireplace mantels, custom railings and their live edge furniture which includes tables made from huge slabs of wood and custom beds.

Ron, Travis and Shawn look forward to building their next masterpiece for you!
